연구실 소개

박은미 교수의 연구실은 뇌 혈류장애와 산화적 손상 관련 질환의 분자 기전을 규명하고자 하며, 특히 뇌경색 손상에서의 염증 반응, DNA 손상 복구 메커니즘, 그리고 신경보호 작용을 유도하는 분자적 요소들을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 PARP와 iNOS의 상호작용, 미세RNA의 신경보호 기전, 그리고 호르몬(에스트로겐)이 뇌를 보호하는 메커니즘에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 식물성 성분이 포함된 건강음료가 음주 후유증에 미치는 영향에 대한 생리학적 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다.

An immunoaffinity column is described that facilitates the analysis of oxidative damage products of DNA and RNA in urine, blood plasma, and medium isolated from cultures of Escherichia coli. Estrogens have antiinflammatory actions and protect the brain from ischemic injury.
