연구실 소개
김응주 교수의 연구실은 심혈관 질환의 염증성 기전과 대사 변화를 중심으로, 뇌경색, 만성 협심증 등 심혈관 질환 환자의 대사 활성도를 PET-CT를 활용해 정량적으로 분석하고 있습니다. 특히 동맥경화증과 간지방증의 연관성, 고콜레스테롤과 체내 염증 반응이 동시에 작용하는 병태를 동물 모델을 통해 규명하고 있으며, 혈관 내 염증 세포를 타겟으로 한 새로운 영상 진단 기법 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 이와 함께 심장 기능과 산소 소비량의 정확한 평가 방법 개선을 위한 운동 능력 평가 모델 개발도 진행 중입니다.
