연구실 소개
김은상 교수의 연구실은 신경영상 기술을 기반으로 뇌의 기능적 및 구조적 변화를 정량적으로 분석하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 주로 SPECT, PET 등의 영상법을 활용해 파킨슨병, 뇌경색, 만성 뇌손상 등 신경퇴행성 질환과 뇌 손상에서의 신경 회로 기능 이상을 연구하며, 특히 세로토닌 수용체 및 TSPO와 같은 분자 표적을 탐지하는 신호물질 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 또한 정서적 성격 특성과 뇌 대사 활동 간의 연관성 등 뇌-행동 상관관계를 탐구하는 데에도 관심을 기울입니다.

15UNLABELLED: In Parkinson's disease (PD), both neuropathologic and biochemical studies suggest that serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine [5-HT]) neurons are affected by the disease process.
