연구실 소개

최가영 교수의 연구실은 신경퇴행성질환, 특히 알츠하이머병의 병태생리 기전과 그 치료를 위한 천연물소재의 신경보호 작용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 주로 시냅스 가소성, 세포 생존율, 전기생리학적 반응 및 행동 변화를 기반으로 허브 성분(쿠르쿠민, 우밀리페론, 시나픽산, 반릴릭산 등)의 뇌세포 보호 효과를 기초 및 응용적으로 탐색하고 있으며, 뇌-컴퓨터 인터페이스 기반의 뇌전도 측정 기술과도 연계한 신경생물학적 생체인식 기술 개발도 함께 수행하고 있습니다.
