김건 교수의 연구실은 주로 소아 위장관계 질환, 특히 외래로 내원하는 소아의 이물질 섭취 사례를 중심으로 진단 및 치료 전략을 모색하고 있습니다. 특히 강력한 네오디움 마그네틱스(초강력 마그넷)의 섭취로 인한 위장관 합병증에 초점을 맞추며, 내 endoscopic 치료의 한계와 수술적 개입의 필요성에 대한 임상적 근거를 제시하고 있습니다. 이는 소아의 안전한 외상 예방과 급성 위장관 질환의 조기 대응을 위한 임상적 지침을 마련하는 데 기여하고 있습니다.
