이기혁 교수의 연구실은 인공지능 기반의 신체적 상호작용 기술과 사용자 중심의 인터페이스 설계를 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 신경망에 응용 가능한 비선형 동역학 시스템(예: 사인 맵 기반 네트워크)과 터치 및 움직임 기반의 정밀 입력 기술(예: 스마트워치용 원손 입력, 터치 피드백 패턴)에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 소형 기기에서의 텍스트 입력 효율성 향상과 직관적인 입력 방식 개발을 위해 혁신적인 키보드 설계 및 직접 글쓰기 인터페이스를 탐색하고 있습니다. 이 모든 연구는 사용자 경험의 향상과 실생활 적용 가능성을 중심으로 기획되고 있습니다.

A TV pointing device using LED directivity

A low-cost, absolute pointing device for the TV exploiting the directivity of LEDs is presented. The main technical issues to solve were 1) the irregularity of the directivity of LEDs, 2) susceptibility to external infrared noise, and 3) instability due to hand tremor. Towards More Direct Text Editing With Handwriting Interfaces
