연구실 소개

김학준 교수의 연구실은 주로 인산화효소와 세포 신호전달 경로의 구조 기반 기전 해명을 중심으로, 특히 막 수용체 단백질인 다이아실글리세롤 키나제(DAGK)의 고해상도 구조와 기능을 규명하고 있습니다. 또한 연골·근육·연골-근육 접합부 손상 치유를 위한 성장인자(예: BMP-2, TGF-β)와 생체적합성 고분자(예: 피브린 글루)를 조합한 재생의료 전략 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 최근에는 인슐린 유사 성장인자(IGF-II)에 의한 VEGF 발현 조절 메커니즘과 피부 절단 부위의 피부접착제 알레르기 위험 요인 분석 등 임상적 응용을 겨냥한 다학제적 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

Escherichia coli diacylglycerol kinase (DAGK) represents a family of integral membrane enzymes that is unrelated to all other phosphotransferases. We have determined the three-dimensional structure of the DAGK homotrimer with the use of solution nuclear magnetic resonance. The third transmembrane helix from each subunit is domain-swapped with the first and second transmembrane segments from an adjacent subunit. Each of DAGK's three active sites resembles a portico. Bone-tendon junction injuries have poor healing potential. This study evaluated the role of TGF-beta and BMP-2 in a fibrin glue carrier in healing of injuries at bone-tendon junction.
