연구실 소개

김희은 교수의 연구실은 뇌영상학과 세포기반 치료를 융합한 신경영상 및 줄기세포 치료 분야에서 주목받는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 갑상선암 환자에서 림프절 전이의 정밀 진단을 위한 초음파 기반 영상 분석과, 뇌혈관 질환에서의 MRI/MRA를 활용한 질환 구별 기법 개발에 주력하고 있으며, 신경정신의학 분야에서는 불안장애 환자의 세로토닌 수용체 기능 변화를 정량화하는 PET 영상 기법을 개발하여 치료 반응 예측에 기여하고자 합니다. 또한, 지방줄기세포를 활용한 다양한 세포치료 전략 개발을 통해 체내에서 쉽게 확보 가능하면서도 다방향 분화 능력을 지닌 ADSC의 임상적 응용 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다.

Brain lesions were typically located at the cerebellar dentate nucleus, midbrain, dorsal pons, medulla, and splenium of the corpus callosum. According to DWI, most of the lesions in MIE probably corresponded to areas of vasogenic edema, whereas only some of them, located in the corpus callosum, corresponded to cytotoxic edema.
