윤홍인 교수의 연구실은 방사선 옹호 치료의 정밀화와 부작용 최소화를 목표로 하며, 특히 심장, 간, 뇌, 방광 등의 정밀 방사선 치료 계획 수립과 부작용 예측 모델 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 다양한 암 종류(비소세포성 폐암, 간세포암, 신경아교세포종, 자궁경부암 등)에서 방사선에 의한 장기 손상, 특히 림프구 감소, 간독성, 심방세동 등의 생물학적 반응을 분석하고 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 개인화된 치료 전략을 모색하고 있습니다. 특히 방사선 선량 분포와 생물학적 지표 간의 연관성을 규명함으로써, 치료의 안전성과 유효성을 높이는 데 기여하고 있습니다.
