연구실 소개
이현우 교수의 연구실은 뼈 형성과 대사 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로, 히스톤 수식 및 전사 인자 조절을 통한 골세포 분화의 epigenetic 기전을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 HDACs, Runx2, adiponectin 및 천연물질(예: 베르베린, 셀라스톨)이 골형성에 미치는 영향을 분자생물학적·세포생물학적 방법으로 탐구하고 있으며, 골다공로시스 및 암 치료를 위한 새로운 타겟 기반 치료 전략 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 연구는 주로 골세포 분화, 염증 반응, 세포 사멸 및 자가포식과 같은 세포 신호 전달 경로와 연관되어 있습니다.
