연구실 소개
강혜련 교수의 연구실은 알로푸린올 유도성 중증 피부과민반응, 방사선 대조 매체 유도성 쇼크 등 약물과 관련된 중증 알레르기 반응의 유전적 기반을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 히스토르컴패티티브 항원(HLA) 유전자와 TGF-β1이 유도하는 조직 섬유화 및 세포 사멸 경로와의 연관성에 대한 기전 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이와 더불어 알레르기성 질환의 유병률 변화 추세 분석을 통해 한국 내 알레르기 질환의 역학적 특성도 함께 탐색하고 있습니다.

Semaphorin (SEMA) 7A regulates neuronal and immune function. In these studies, we tested the hypothesis that SEMA 7A is also a critical regulator of tissue remodeling. These studies demonstrate that SEMA 7A and its receptors, plexin C1 and beta1 integrins, are stimulated by transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta(1) in the murine lung.
