연구실 소개
최혜영 교수의 연구실은 주로 뼈관절질환, 특히 퇴행성 관절염에서 면역수용체(Toll-like 수용체)가 조절하는 대사 경로와 연골세포의 기능 저하 메커니즘을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 유방 질환의 영상 진단 및 병리학적 특성 분석을 통해 악성 종양과 양성 병변을 정밀하게 구별할 수 있는 진단 기법을 개발하고 있습니다. 특히 초음파 영상 기반 진단 기술(예: shear wave elastography, 도플러 영상 분석)과 조직 생검 결과의 유기적 연계를 통해 임상적 정확도를 높이는 데 기여하고 있습니다.

Copine3, a known calcium-dependent membrane binding protein, contains two tandem C2 domains and an A domain. This protein has been shown to interact with receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (ErbB2), but little is known concerning the physiological function of Copine3. To better understand its cellular function, we carried out a yeast two-hybrid screen to find Copine3 binding partners. RATIONALE: Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) of the breast is a rare entity, with an estimated incidence of only 0.2% to 0.3% of all primary breast tumors. The radiological features of breast MEC have scarcely been investigated mainly because of its rarity.
