연구실 소개

전현애 교수의 연구실은 뇌의 고차원적 인지처리 메커니즘과 전반적인 뇌 기능 연결성에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 전두엽皮질, 특히 BA44 영역의 계층적 처리 기능과 코르티코-자율계-청각-피질 순환 구조의 기능적 특이성에 대한 고해상도 MRI 및 PET를 활용한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 수학 전문성과 통계적 학습 등 인지 전문성의 뇌 기반 기초를 규명하고자 하며, 알츠하이머병에서 아세틸콜린계 기능 이상의 원인 여부를 밝히는 데에도 기여하고 있습니다.
