연구실 소개
이현구 교수의 연구실은 농업생물학과 임상의학 분야를 융합한 연구를 중심으로, 식물근권 미생물의 식물성장촉진 및 병원균 억제 기능을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히, 옥수수 등 주요 작물에서 병원성 곰팡이와 세균에 대한 생물적 방제제로 활용 가능한 균주를 선별하고, 이들의 기능적 특성과 생장촉진 메커니즘을 분석하고 있습니다. 동시에 대장암 환자의 치료 패턴과 예후에 영향을 미치는 요인, 특히 코로나19 패닉 기간 동안의 의료 지연 영향을 분석하는 임상 연구도 병행하고 있습니다. 이처럼 미생물 기반 농업 생태계 개선과 암 치료의 질적 향상을 위한 기초·임상 연계 연구를 추구하고 있습니다.

15In this study, two Burkholderia strains, strain KNU17BI2 and strain KNU17BI3, were isolated from maize rhizospheric soil, South Korea. The 16S rRNA gene and multilocus sequence analysis and typing (MLSA-MLST) were used for the identification of the studied strains.
