안현주 교수의 연구실은 호흡기질환 및 암 치료 분야에서의 기전 연구와 임상 적용을 융합한 연구를 주요로 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 급성호흡곤란증후군(ARDS) 및 흉부마취에서의 폐 보호적 통기 전략, 드라이빙 압력 최소화의 임상적 유용성에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 동시에 항암제 개발을 위한 대사 억제 전략(예: 페너포민과 옥사메이트 조합)과 오르모닌 수용체(OGFR)를 타겟으로 한 폐암 치료 전략도 탐색하고 있습니다. 이는 임상에서의 안전성과 유효성을 동시에 확보하고자 하는 다학제적 접근을 기반으로 합니다.
