연구실 소개
강현우 교수의 연구실은 대사질환과 소화기질환 간의 인체 구성 성분 연관성을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 비만, 복부 비만(내장지방), 근육량 감소 등 체성분 지표가 대사증후군, 당뇨, 심혈관질환, 대장선종, 기능성 소화불량 등에 미치는 영향을 체계적으로 분석하고 있습니다. 최근에는 코로나19 백신의 부작용과 상부위장역류, 장내세균총과의 연관성 등 다양한 소화기계 질환의 병태생리학적 기전을 탐구하고 있습니다. 복합적 체성분 분석과 임상 영상 데이터를 기반으로 한 정밀의료 기반의 질병 예방 전략 개발이 핵심 목표입니다.
