연구실 소개

김현진 교수의 연구실은 광촉매를 활용한 생체 효소 기반의 지속 가능한 화학합성 기술을 핵심으로 연구하고 있습니다. 특히, 빛을 이용해 NADH와 유사한 환원성 보조인자를 재생시키는 반응 체계를 개발하여, α,β-불포화 화합물의 에너지 효율적이고 입체선택적 환원을 실현하고 있습니다. 또한 리그닌과 같은 폐기물 자원의 광전기화학적 산화를 통해 유용한 환원제를 생성하는 통합 플랫폼 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다. 이는 친환경 화학공정과 바이오리미니어링 분야의 핵심 기술로 발전하고 있습니다.

Abstract Light‐driven activation of redox enzymes is an emerging route for sustainable chemical synthesis. Among redox enzymes, the family of Old Yellow Enzyme (OYE) dependent on the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide cofactor (NADH) catalyzes the stereoselective reduction of α,β‐unsaturated hydrocarbons. Here, we report OYE‐catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation through light‐driven regeneration of NADH and its analogues (mNADHs) by N‐doped carbon nanodots (N‐CDs), a zero‐dimensional photocatalyst.
