연구실 소개

김현정 교수의 연구실은 나노소재 기반의 에너지 저장 소재와 환경 나노기술을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 전이금속 산화물 나노구조를 활용한 고성능 이온이온 전기화학적 저장 소재 개발과 함께, 나노입자 및 병원성 박테리아의 수질 내 이동 거동을 이해하기 위한 환경역학적 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다. 특히, 나노입자 간 상호작용, 미세생물의 표면 특성 변화, 그리고 도시광물에서의 첨단 금속 회수 기술에 대한 연구가 핵심입니다.

The transport and deposition behavior of Escherichia coli O157: H7 was investigated in saturated packed-bed columns and micromodel systems over a range of ionic strength (IS) (1, 10, and 100 mM) and pH (5.8, 8.4, and 9.2) conditions. At a given IS, elevated solution pH resulted in decreased deposition as a result of the increase in the measured zeta potential of the quartz sand. Experiments were conducted using enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O157:H7 cells to investigate the influence of extracellular macromolecules on cell surface properties and adhesion behavior to quartz sand.
