SJR Q1SustainabilityOA

As small obsolete buildings are exposed to high fire risks, governments are trying to evaluate their fire risks and preferentially improve fire protection performance for high risk buildings, however, the evaluation manpower and time are insufficient compared to the rapidly increasing number of obsolete buildings. Therefore, this study aimed to derive major fire risk index (FRI) evaluation items as part of developing a platform to quickly and efficiently evaluate fire risks in dense areas of sma

SJR Q3Technology and Health Care

BACKGROUND: People with disabilities face challenges in daily life during the COVID-19 pandemic, including limited access to care, exposure to lifestyle-related diseases, and difficulties in regular exercise. Therefore, it is important to establish health safety nets using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in communities. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to develop an m-Health-based personalized lifestyle intervention algorithm targeting high-risk groups of lifestyle-related diseases (in

SJR Q3Technology and Health Care

BACKGROUND: To improve gait disability in patients with chronic stroke, ankle muscle strengthening and calf muscle stretching exercises are required. However, currently available ankle training equipment limit ankle exercises based on the position. Recently developed ankle training equipment enables spring resistance-based plantar press exercises to be performed in the standing position with weight support. OBJECTIVE: To conduct a usability test of the ankle training equipment in the standing po

KUMeL Repository (Keimyung University)OA

Extracellular ATP elicits diverse physiological effects by binding to the G-protein-coupled P2Y receptors on the plasma membrane. In addition to the short-term effects of extracellular nucleotides on cell functions, there is evidence that such purinergic signalling can have long-term effects on cell proliferation, differentiation and death. The 3T3-L1 cell line derived from mouse embryo is a well-established and commonly utilized in vitro model for adipocytes differentiation and function. Howeve

청주대학교 물리치료학과, Du-Ri Jeong, Hyung-Joo Lee, Tae-Lim Yoon
Korean Journal of Neuromuscular Rehabilitation

This study aimed to investigate the effect of immersion level on balance ability in patients with stroke undergoing a virtual reality (VR)-based balance training program. A total of 30 participants were randomly assigned to either a full-immersion VR group (FVR, n=15) or a semi-immersion VR group (SVR, n=15). Each group performed the intervention for approximately 30 minutes, and balance ability was assessed before and after the intervention using a force plate (Balancia program), the Berg balan
