윤형신 교수의 연구실은 뇌의 보상 회로, 특히 뇌중수핵(Nucleus Accumbens)에서의 신경화학적 기전에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 주로 약물 남용(코카인 등)과 정서 장애의 신경생물학적 기초를 밝히기 위해 신경전달물질, 신호전달 분자(예: CART 펩타이드, ERK, GHSR 수용체)의 기능과 발현을 분석하고 있습니다. 특히 행동적 감각화, 조건화 반응, 우울 장애의 생물학적 표지자 등과 같은 주제를 중심으로 기초 신경과학과 임상 신경의학의 다학제적 접근을 시도하고 있습니다.

The role of the biologically active CART 55-102 peptide in the nucleus accumbens (NAcc) in the expression of cocaine-induced behavioral sensitization was investigated. Rats were divided into four groups: one for saline and the other three for cocaine pre-exposures (15 mg/kg, i.p., once daily for 7 days).
