연구실 소개
조익성 교수의 연구실은 심장병의 조기 진단과 위험도 평가를 목표로 하며, 특히 무증상 환자를 대상으로 관상동맥CT angiography(CCTA)와 관상동맥 칼슘 스코어링(CACS)이 심혈관 사망 및 합병증 예측에 어떻게 기여하는지에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 연구는 주로 무증상 인구에서 전통적 위험 인자와의 비교를 통해 CCTA의 임상적 유용성과 추가적 위험 분류 가치를 규명하고 있으며, 특히 CACS 수준에 따른 CCTA의 예측 능력 차이를 분석하고 있습니다. 이는 심혈관 질환의 예방적 접근과 개인화된 의료에 기여할 수 있는 기초 자료를 제공합니다.

Coronary computed tomographic angiography improved prognostication of 6-year all-cause mortality beyond a set of conventional RF alone, although, no further incremental value was offered by CCTA when CCTA findings were added to a model incorporating RF and CACS.

Serum antibody titers against the A/Panama/2007/99(H3N2) and A/Fujian/411/2002(H3N2)-like viruses were determined in children 6-35 months of age who received either 1 dose of the inactivated influenza vaccine or the live attenuated influenza vaccine containing the A/Panama strain. Results indicated that the live vaccine induced higher antibody responses than the inactivated vaccine against the A/Panama and A/Fujian-like viruses.
In the largest series of asymptomatic individuals with CACS of zero undergoing CCTA, age, male gender, diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia were independently associated with NCP. However, a future risk of exclusive NCP in asymptomatic subjects with CACS of zero was negligible.
Patients without luminal narrowing but with CAC experience greater risk of 5-year mortality. Patients with CAC score ≥100 and no coronary luminal narrowing experience death rates similar to those with non-obstructive CAD.
