연구실 소개
심인섭 교수의 연구실은 뇌의 신경염증과 신경전달물질 기능 이상이 정신질환 및 인지 기능 저하와 연관되는 메커니즘을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 신경염증 반응, 호르몬 조절 이상, 그리고 신경가소성 변화가 우울증과 인지장애에 미치는 영향을 동물 모델을 활용해 체계적으로 연구하고 있으며, 신약 후보 물질의 기전 규명과 치료 효과 평가에도 주력하고 있습니다. 최근에는 항우울 작용이 있는 락테이트, 갈근성분, 아세틸콜린효소 억제제 등 다양한 물질의 신경 보호 효과를 기초 및 임상 모델을 통해 검증하고 있습니다.
