황인석 교수의 연구실은 모바일 환경에서 실시간으로 인간의 행동과 상황을 지능적으로 인식하고 지원하는 context-aware 시스템을 핵심으로 연구합니다. 특히 스마트폰과 웨어러블 기기, 센서 기반의 협업 기반 상황 감지 기술을 통해 에너지 효율성과 정확도를 동시에 확보하는 혁신적인 솔루션을 개발하고 있습니다. 연구는 주로 일상생활 속의 대화, 운동, 제스처 인터랙션 등 인간 중심의 상호작용을 중심으로, 실생활 적용이 가능한 스마art한 모바일 서비스 플랫폼을 구현하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 부모-자녀 상호작용 개선, 운동 촉진, 눈을 쓰지 않는 인터페이스 설계 등 사회적 가치를 고려한 기술 개발을 지속적으로 추진하고 있습니다.
