연구실 소개

남인식 교수의 연구실은 주로 자동차 배기가스 제어를 위한 촉매 반응 기반의 환경 정화 기술에 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 유소(urea-SCR) 공정을 통한 NOx 저감 기술 개발에 핵심적인 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 고온에서의 우레아 분해 거동과 촉매적 반응 메커니즘을 정량적으로 분석함으로써, 실용적인 모놀리스 반응기 설계 및 장기적 촉매 활성 유지 성능 예측 모델을 구축하고 있습니다. 특히 팔라듐 기반 삼원 촉매의 열화 거동과 구리-ZSM5 촉매를 활용한 고성능 SCR 반응기의 설계 및 성능 예측에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.

The thermal and catalytic decomposition of urea over a fixed-bed flow reactor system has been examined for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO x from mobile sources. The conversion of urea into NH 3 and HNCO, the two major products from the thermal decomposition of urea, increased with the reaction temperature and the reactor space time. Urea was completely decomposed into NH 3 and HNCO at 350 °C when the residence time was longer than 0.1 s. As the reaction temperature increased to 40
