연구실 소개

심재철 교수의 연구실은 척추 및 말초신경에 기인한 만성 통증, 특히 요추간디스크성 요통과 척수성 뿌리통증에 초점을 맞춘 신경차단 및 경피적 시술 기반의 통증의학 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 척추요통의 진단 및 치료를 위한 정확한 해부학적 접근을 위한 영상유도 시술 기술 개발과 함께, 전방요추요추경막내 주입, 척수신경 차단, 견인신경차단 등 다양한 시술 전략의 유효성과 안전성을 평가하고 있습니다. 최근에는 초음파 유도 하에서 무릎 신경차단을 위한 경과동맥의 해부학적 위치 파악 등 비침습적이고 정밀한 진단 및 치료 기법 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다.
