정재훈 교수의 연구실은 자동차 네트워크와 스마트 이동 시스템을 중심으로, 차량의 이동 경로 정보를 효율적으로 활용한 데이터 전달 및 통신 기술을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 GPS 기반 경로 정보를 기반으로 한 개인정보 보호를 고려한 경로 기반 데이터 포워딩, 인프라에서 차량으로의 효율적 데이터 전달, 그리고 이동 대상의 운동학적 특성을 고려한 에너지 절약형 센서 네트워크 추적 기술 등에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 연구는 실시간 도로 환경 최적화와 차량 간 상호작용을 통한 스마트 이동 시스템의 구현을 목표로 합니다.
