연구실 소개

김재훈 교수의 연구실은 에너지 전환과 지속가능한 화학공정을 핵심 목표로 삼고 있으며, 특히 이산화탄소의 효율적 활용과 재생 가능한 자원에서 고부가가치 화학물질을 생산하는 촉매 기반 기술 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 나노구조 촉매를 설계하여 CO₂를 C5+ 수소화물로 직접 전환하거나, 당류를 고수율로 2,5-디메틸프uran으로 변환하는 데 성공하였으며, lignin 유래 화합물의 선택적 수소화 및 탈산소화를 위한 고성능 이중금속 촉매도 개발했습니다. 이는 에너지 저장 소재와 연계된 친환경 화학공정의 핵심 기술을 선도하고 있음을 보여줍니다.
