연구실 소개

임재향 교수 연구실은 면역 및 염증 반응의 분자적 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 NF-κB 신호 경로의 조절자인 CYLD와 같은 탈유비퀴틴화 효소의 기능을 규명하며, 만성 염증성 질환과 폐 섬유화 등에서의 역할을 밝혀내고 있습니다. 또한, EVI1과 같은 전사인자가 염증 반응에 미치는 억제적 영향을 탐색하여 면역 반응의 균형을 유지하는 분자 기전을 규명하고자 합니다. 이는 염증 관련 질환의 새로운 치료 전략 개발에 기여할 잠재력을 지닙니다.
