15Pretreatment TLG proved to be an independent prognostic factor for RFS in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer treated by definitive chemoradiotherapy.
Ga-NOTA-RGD PET would be a useful angiogenesis imaging modality in MI for assessment of pathophysiology or monitoring of therapeutic efficacy.
Background (18)F-FDG uptake on PEM significantly increases as mammographic density increases. Background parenchymal enhancement in breast MRI was not an independent predictor of the background (18)F-FDG uptake on PEM unlike mammographic density.
This is an observational study to determine the most relevant parameter of ¹⁸F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) for predicting recurrence in cervical cancer. Fifty-six patients with International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage IIB-IVA cervical cancer who underwent pretreatment ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT were enrolled. PET parameters including maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax), metabolic tumor volume (MTV), and total lesion glyc
Currently, nuclear imaging such as positron emission tomography (PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) is increasingly used in the management of liver malignancy. (18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-PET is the most widely used nuclear imaging in liver malignancy as in other cancers, and has been reported to be effective in diagnosis, response monitoring, recurrence evaluation, and prognosis prediction. Other PET imaging such as (11)C-acetate PET is also used complementarily to F
BACKGROUND: The effect of amyloid-β (Aβ) on cognitive impairment in patients with small subcortical infarction remains controversial, although a growing body of evidence shows a substantial overlap between Alzheimer's disease (AD) and subcortical ischemic vascular dementia, another form of cerebral small vessel disease (cSVD). Therefore, we investigated the relationships between Aβ positivity and the development of post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) in patients with small subcortical infarc
A 67-year-old man with back pain was diagnosed as having multiple spinal metastases on MRI. On CT scan, only a filling defect in the right pulmonary artery was observed and suspected as venous thromboembolism. On F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT, intense hypermetabolism was observed in the right pulmonary artery in addition to the metastatic spine lesions. Biopsy confirmed the lesion as a primary pulmonary artery sarcoma (PAS), and the spine lesions as metastases of PAS. Although PAS is rare
