연구실 소개
심재민 교수의 연구실은 심방세동(심방 fibrillation) 치료를 위한 고도화된 카테터 레이저 열치료 기술과 그 임상적 안정성에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 특히 심방세동 환자에서 심장의 구조적 변화와 기능적 기전을 비침습적 영상 및 인공지능 기반 분석으로 규명하고 있으며, 특히 심방세동의 복귀 원인을 예측하기 위한 생체역학적 모델링과 '가상의 치료 레이저' 시뮬레이션 기술을 도입해 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 수립을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 심방세동 치료 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 심각한 합병증, 예를 들어 심장-食도 고름 등에 대한 위험 요소 분석과 예방 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.
