연구실 소개

조재원 교수의 연구실은 수처리 및 여과 막 시스템에서 자연유기물(NOM)이 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 막 표면의 전하 특성, 이온 강도 영향, 그리고 NOM의 생물학적 분해 가능성과 소독부산물 생성 잠재성 등에 대한 기초적 특성 분석을 통해 막 오염을 예측하고 제어하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 다양한 NOM 성분의 분리 및 특성 분석을 통해 오염 메커니즘을 규명하고, 실용적인 여과 시스템 설계에 기여하고자 합니다.

Various natural organic matter (NOM) constituents were evaluated in terms of their biodegradability, disinfection byproduct (DBP) formation potentials, and membrane fouling.
