연구실 소개
임재열 교수의 연구실은 방사선 손상으로 인한 타액선 기능 저하를 회복하기 위한 신규 치료 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 주로 인간 지방줄기세포(hAdMSCs)의 분비인자와 생체재료 기반의 하이드로겔을 활용해 타액선 세포의 생존과 기능 회복을 유도하는 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 특히 저산소 조건에서 유도된 분비인자가 방사선에 의한 손상에 대한 보호 작용을 어떻게 조절하는지 메커니즘을 규명하고자 합니다. 또한, 3D 세포 모델과 장기oid를 활용한 체외 모델링을 통해 치료 효과를 정량화하고 있습니다.
