연구실 소개

이장헌 교수 연구실은 체내 신호 전달 경로와 뇌-척수 축의 통증 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로, 전통 한의학에서 사용되는 천연물(예: 꿀벌독, 침술)의 통증 완화 및 항염증 효과를 생물학적 기전과 함께 규명하고자 합니다. 특히 척수에서의 NMDA 수용체 인산화, 스플라인 수용체, 일산화질소 등 신호 분자의 역할을 밝히며, 통증의 생리학적 기전을 이해하고자 합니다. 침술 치료와 천연물의 신경생물학적 기전을 기반으로 한 통증 치료 신전략 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
