백장현 교수 연구실은 뇌경화성 뇌혈관질환, 특히 뇌경화성 뇌동맥경화증에 의한 급성 뇌경색에서 기계적 혈전제거술의 임상적 성과와 최적 절차 전략을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 스텐트리트루버를 이용한 혈관 재관류 성공 예측 요법, 병변 유형에 따른 치료 반응 차이, 그리고 병용 치료 전략(예: 밸런스 가이드 캐뉼라 사용)의 임상적 유용성에 대한 다국적 다기관 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 연구는 임상적 실무에 즉각적인 영향을 주는 실용적이고 정밀한 데이터 기반의 뇌졸중 치료 전략 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
