연구실 소개
전형준 교수의 연구실은 척추 및 경추의 안정화 수술, 특히 C1-C2 체결술을 중심으로 한 고도의 척추외과 수술 기법 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 뇌출혈 후 간질 발생 위험 요인 분석과 장기적인 항경련제 사용 전략에 대한 연구도 병행하며, 수술적 합병증을 최소화하면서도 안정적인 척추 고정을 위한 신뢰할 수 있는 수술 접근법을 모색하고 있습니다. 특히 메쉬 케이지를 이용한 인터라미널 스파이서 적용은 기존의 자가골 절취 합병증을 줄이는 데 기여하고 있습니다.

15Perioperative seizures are not significant predictors for late epilepsy. Instead, initial amount of SAH and surgery-induced cortical damage should be seriously considered as risk factors for late epilepsy. Because AEDs can not prevent early postoperative seizures (< 1 week) and potentially cause unexpected side effects, long-term use should be readjusted in high-risk patients.
Early cranioplasty provides satisfactory securing dissection plane during operative procedures compared with later cranioplasty, without causing additional complications including infection, subdural hygroma, and brain parenchymal damage, in selected cases.

The results of this study in which mesh cage was used as an interlaminar spacer, showed immediate rigid fixation and successful bone union. We also could prevent donor site morbidities frequently seen in patients with surgical treatment for AAI.
C1 lateral mass and C2 pedicle (C1LM-C2P) fixation is a relatively new technique for atlantoaxial stabilization. Complications from C1LM-C2P fixation have been rarely reported.
