정익수 교수의 연구실은 마취 및 집중치료 분야에서의 임상적 문제 해결을 목표로 하며, 특히 출산 마취에서의 안전성 향상과 심혈관계 안정성 확보에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 고혈압성 폐동맥압 변화, 바이피카인에 의한 심장 억제에 대한 인슐린 치료 효과, 기도 관리 기법의 최적화 등 실질적인 임상 적용 가능성을 고려한 연구를 지속적으로 수행하고 있습니다. 또한, 생체 신호 조절 및 약리적 대체 요법의 임상적 적용 가능성을 탐색하는 데도 관심을 기울이고 있습니다.

BACKGROUND: Epidural anesthesia (EA) is popular for cesarean section, but has some drawbacks such as incomplete block, inadequate muscle relaxation and delayed onset. Combined spinal epidural anesthesia (CSEA) has gained increasing interest as it combines the reliability of a spinal block and the flexibility of an epidural block. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the flow rate of elastomeric balloon infusor composed of rubber or silicone materials. Two models were studied: the Baxter Twoday Infusor and Advance Silicone Infusor. Each infusion device has a preset flow rate of 2 mL/hr.
