연구실 소개

서정국 교수의 연구실은 산화 스트레스와 관련된 내피 기능 보호 메커니즘을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 항고혈압제, 국소마취제, 마취유도제 등 다양한 약물이 반응성 산소종(ROS)에 의한 내피 손상으로부터 혈관 기능을 보존하는 작용을 규명하고 있으며, 이는 주로 슈퍼옥시드나 과산화수소를 제거하는 항산화 작용과 연관됩니다. 또한 마취 상태에서의 신경근이완 효과 및 고정 상태에서의 약리 반응 변화에 대해서도 임상적 응용을 고려한 기초 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.

Both captopril and enalapril protect endothelium against ROS in a dose-dependent fashion in isolated rabbit abdominal aortas. This protective effect is related to superoxide anion scavenging.

These findings suggest that ketorlac and diclofenac preserve the endothelium-dependent vasorelaxation against the attack of ROS, in a concentration-related manner. One of the endothelial protection mechanisms of ketorolac may be hydrogen peroxide scavenging.
