연구실 소개
김정민 교수의 연구실은 뇌혈관 질환의 조기 진단과 예후 예측을 목표로 고해상도 혈관벽 영상 기반의 뇌경색 병변 분석을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 뇌경색 병변의 기전과 재발 위험을 예측할 수 있는 병변 특성 분석에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 전임상적 영상 기반의 뇌질환 메커니즘 규명과 임상 적용을 위한 기술 개발도 함께 수행하고 있습니다. 최근에는 신경영상 기반의 병변 특성 분석과 신체적 생체지표 간의 연관성 연구도 확장하고 있습니다.

Shorter limb length was associated with lower childhood socioeconomic status, as estimated by the presence/duration of formal education. It was also independently associated with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Sex differences in this association might be explained by gender disadvantage in early life for this cohort or by different associations with health states (for example, cardiovascular disease) later in life.
Patients with advanced stage adult MMD tended to have ischaemic lesions involving the cortex and posterior part of the brain and the stroke mechanism in these patients was largely associated with haemodynamic compromise. Our results suggest that the lesion pattern of ischaemic stroke may change along with the extent of arterial involvement.
