연구실 소개
정명진 교수의 연구실은 주로 흉부 영상의학 분야에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 간질성 폐질환, 비결핵성 항산균 감염, 자가면역질환과 연관된 폐질환 등 복합적 병변의 영상유형과 병태생리학적 기전을 해부하는 데 주력하고 있습니다. CT 영상의 정량적 분석 기법 개발을 통해 질환의 진행 상황을 객관적으로 평가하고, 이는 진단 정확도 향상과 치료 계획 수립에 기여합니다. 또한 일부 연구에서는 신경영상 제어 기술 등 응용공학적 요소도 융합하여 의료영상의 정밀도와 안정성을 높이는 데 기여하고 있습니다.

15Sjogren syndrome accompanying pulmonary amyloidosis and lymphoproliferative disease manifests as multiple, large, thin-walled cysts; multiple nodules; parenchymal opacity; and bronchiectasis. These findings are caused by the interstitial or peribronchial infiltration of mixed amyloid and lymphoproliferative cells.
Quantitative indexes measured by a commercial workstation showed good correlation not only with the extent of DILD estimated by visual inspection but also with PFT results. Quantitative indexes can be used as an objective tool for quantitative evaluation of disease extent and for follow-up of the progression or improvement of a DILD.

On dynamic CT, sclerosing hemangioma has strong and rapid enhancement attributed histopathologically to the presence of hemangiomatous or papillary components in the tumor.
By providing thin-section transaxial, multiplanar reconstruction, and 3D images, CT angiography using MDCT allows comparable or better images than conventional angiography with respect to the depiction of bronchial or nonbronchial systemic arteries.
