연구실 소개

권정태 교수의 연구실은 뇌의 공포 기억 형성 메커니즘을 해부하기 위해 신경 회로, 세포 수준의 활성화 및 시냅스 가소성의 상호작용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 페어로비안 공포 조건화 모델을 기반으로 해마와 편도체, 척수 등 뇌 구조 간의 정보 통합 과정에서 기억이 어떻게 형성되고 유지되는지를 전기적 자극과 분자 영상 기법을 결합해 규명하고 있습니다. 최근에는 특정 뉴런 집단의 선택적 활성화가 기억 흔적 형성에 미치는 영향에 대한 기초를 마련하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
