연구실 소개
정원호 교수의 연구실은 청각 및 전정 신경계의 질환, 특히 메니에르병과 비특이적 어지럼증의 정밀 진단과 병태생리 기전 규명을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 MRI 기반 내림프성 고혈압 분석, 전정 기능 검사, 전기청각도 등의 객관적 평가 기법을 융합하여 청각 및 전정 기능 이상을 정량적으로 분석하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 인공지능 기반 영상 분석 알고리즘 개발을 통해 진단의 정확성과 효율성을 극대화하고자 합니다. 또한 약물 유도 청각세포 손상 모델을 활용한 세포 수준의 분자 기전 연구를 병행하여 청력 손실의 예방 및 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고자 합니다.

Immunostaining with anti-caspase 3 antibody and caspase 3 assay showed that cisplatin induced apoptosis in HEI-OC1 cells. After cisplatin treatment, NF-kappaB (p65) was activated to translocate from the cytoplasm into the nucleus. This study compared white matter development in prelingually deaf and normal-hearing children using a tract-based spatial statistics (TBSS) method.
