최정윤 교수의 연구실은 신경과학 분야에서 중심성 어지러움, 뇌간 및 소뇌 질환과 연관된 안진(질병)의 기전과 임상 특징을 체계적으로 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 중심성 위치성 안진, 전정반사 기능 평가, 뇌졸중 후 어지러움의 생물학적 지표 탐색을 중심으로 임상과 기초를 융합한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 최근에는 유전자 기반 위험도 분류 및 뇌종양, 특히 소뇌성 악성 종양의 진단·치료 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.

15CPPN may be ascribed to enhanced responses of the vestibular afferents due to lesions involving the nodulus and uvula. CPPN could be differentiated from benign paroxysmal positional nystagmus by positional nystagmus induced in multiple planes, temporal patterns of nystagmus intensity, and associated neurologic findings suggestive of central pathologies.
