연구실 소개
박정호 교수의 연구실은 장기 질환, 특히 장이완성 증후군(IBS)과 바이러스 감염의 분자 기전을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 장내 면역세포인 마스터 세포의 역할과 장내 투과성, 대사 증후군과 식도염의 연관성 등 장기 생리학적 이상 메커니즘을 밝혀내는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 항바이러스 작용을 가진 단백질 시스템을 이용한 새로운 치료 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 특히, 마즈E-마즈F 시스템을 활용한 바이러스 타겟팅 치료 전략은 기초 생물학과 임상 응용을 연결하는 독창적인 연구입니다.
