연구실 소개

이 교수의 연구실은 주로 간엽줄기세포에서 유래한 외소포(Extracellular Vesicles, EVs)의 생물학적 기능과 치료적 응용을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 퇴행성 관절염, 골다공로시스, 알츠하이머병 등 노화 관련 퇴행성 질환에서 EVs의 면역조절, 세포 보호 및 미토콘드리아 기능 회복 작용을 규명하고 있으며, 나노입자를 이용한 약물 전달 시스템 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다. 최근에는 광유도성 단백질 시스템을 활용한 정밀한 약물 방출 기술과 천연 추출물의 효능을 극대화하는 환경 친화적 용매 기술까지 다각도로 연구를 확장하고 있습니다.
