소비자의 자산계층별 금융자산 포트폴리오

본 연구는 통계청의 2000년 ’가구소비실태조사’ 자료를 이용하여 소비자의 자산계층별 금융자산 포트폴리오의 특성을 파악하고 금융자산 포트폴리오 수익의 결정요인에 대하여 분석하였다. 저자산 계층의 소비자들은 요구불예금과 저축성보험과 같은 상대적으로 안전한 저축형 투자대안에 많은 비중을 두고 투자를 하는 반면, 고자산 계층의 소비자들은 저축 및 신탁, 유가증권과 같은 상대적으로 위험한 투자대안에 투자 비중을 더 많이 두고 투자를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 고자산 계층의 가계는 저자산 계층의 가계에 비해 금융자산 포트폴리오로부터 약 100배 이상의 높은 투자 수익률을 얻은 것으로 분석되었다. 소비자의 자산계층별 금융자산 포트폴리오 수익에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석해 본 결과, 가구주 연령과 성별, 교육연수, 직업, 거주지역이 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 가구주 연령과 교육연수가 증가할수록 포트폴리오 수익은 높은 것으로 나타났고, 남성 가구주의 가계가 포트폴리오 수익이

우리나라의 세대 간 소득 이동성 분석 -아버지와 아들을 중심으로-

본 연구는 세대 간 소득 탄력성계수를 추정하여 우리나라의 세대 간 소득 이동성에 대한 함의를 도출하였다. 실증분석을 위해 한국노동패널조사(KLIPS) 1차~11차 자료 중 원가구의 가구주인 아버지와 분가한 가구의 가구주가 된 아들의 자료를 연결한 총 369쌍의 표본을 설정하였다. 항상소득에 대한 대리변수(proxy)는 연간 및 월평균 근로소득을 이용하였고 모든 변수를 평균하였으며 생애주기 변동을 통제하고자 부모와 자녀의 연령 및 연령제곱을 설명변수로 추가하였다. 분석방법은 최소제곱(Ordinary Least Square) 및 도구변수(Instrumental Variable) 추정방법을 사용하였고, 자녀의 소득분위별 세대 간 소득 이전 정도를 분석하고자 분위회귀분석(Quantile Regression)을 추가적으로 실시하였다. 분석한 결과, 첫째 아버지와 아들의 근로소득은 강한 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타나 우리나라의 세대 간 이동성이 낮다는 가능성을 찾게 되었다. 둘째, 분위회귀분석
