전지은 교수의 연구실은 당뇨병과 대사질환의 복합적 위험 요인을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 혈액포도당 변동성, 심혈관 자율신경병증, 근육량 감소 및 복부 비만의 상호작용 등 당뇨병의 발병 및 합병증 진행 메커니즘을 연속적이고 다각적인 접근으로 연구하고 있습니다. 장기적인 건강검진 자료를 기반으로 한 종단적 연구를 통해 생체정보와 대사 상태의 변화를 정량적으로 분석하고 있습니다.

BACKGROUND: The purpose of this study was to establish the association between continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)-defined glycaemic variability (GV) and cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy (CAN) in type 1 diabetes independent of mean glucose and to examine the relative contribution of each internationally standardized CGM parameter to this association.
