연구실 소개
정지현 교수의 연구실은 청각 장애와 신경질환, 특히 나이와 당뇨병이 연관된 청력 손실의 메커니즘을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 신경수용체 기반의 고감도 바이오센서 기술 개발을 통해 파킨슨병, 알츠하이머병 등 신경퇴행성 질환의 조기 진단을 위한 혁신적 기술을 개발하고 있습니다. 또한 구강·두경부암에서 SOX2 유전자 활성화가 치료 반응과 예후에 미치는 영향을 유전자 발현 분석을 바탕으로 규명하고, 신경마비 환자의 신경기능 평가 체계의 정확성과 유용성도 검증하고 있습니다. 특히 청력 손실의 병태생리학적 기전과 임상 평가 도구의 정교화를 통해 청각 건강과 신경기능 유지에 기여하는 종합적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
