연구실 소개
이지원 교수의 연구실은 주로 소아 혈액행생식계 종양 및 신경모세포종의 치료 개선을 목표로 하며, 특히 고위험도 신경모세포종에서의 MYCN 유전자 증폭과 치료 반응의 연관성, 그리고 간이식을 동반한 고용량화학요법과 자가간엽세포이식의 유효성에 대해 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 부수적 복합요법의 약물동태학적 모니터링과 약물 유전학적 요인 분석을 통해 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 수립에도 기여하고 있습니다. 특히 부수적 복합요법의 독성 감소 및 치료 성과 향상을 위한 약물 조절 전략 개발이 핵심 과제입니다.

15BACKGROUND: This study investigated the clinical significance of MYCN amplification within high-risk neuroblastoma (NB). METHODS: Medical records of 135 patients who were diagnosed with high-risk NB from 2004 to 2016 were reviewed. Although <i>ALK</i> mutation was rare and no amplification was observed, ALK protein expression was found in a significant number of patients and was correlated with advanced stage and high-risk neuroblastoma. ALK protein expression could be considered as a marker related to the aggressive neuroblastoma, but it was not the independent prognostic factor for the outcome.
The patients who relapsed or had refractory osteosarcoma or who had metastasis at diagnosis or a lower grade of necrosis after neoadjuvant chemotherapy showed poor prognosis. HDCT with ASCT could be an alternative treatment option for these patients.
