연구실 소개

엄지용 교수의 연구실은 기후변화 대응을 위한 탄소중립 전략과 에너지 시스템 전환을 핵심으로 하며, 특히 한국의 2050 탄소중립 목표를 달성하기 위한 전력 부문의 탈석탄 전환, 재생에너지 확대, CCS 및 음이온 에너지 기술의 역할을 심층적으로 분석하고 있습니다. 또한, 나노소재 기반의 고성능 배터리 개발을 통해 에너지 저장 기술의 혁신도 함께 추구하고 있습니다. 연구는 정책적 실현 가능성과 기술적 타당성을 융합한 통합평가 모델링을 기반으로 진행됩니다.

Preparation of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube/Silicon Composites and Their Lithium Storage Properties

Single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT)/silicon composites were produced from the purified SWCNTs and Si powder by high-energy ball-milling and then electrochemically inserted with Li using Li/(SWCNT/Si) cells. The highest reversible capacity and lowest irreversible capacity of the SWCNT/Si composites were measured to be 1845 and 474 mAh g(-1) after ball-milling for 60 min, respectively.
