김진곤 교수의 연구실은 주로 나노구조 소재의 설계 및 응용에 중점을 두고 있으며, 바이러스 여과용 이중층 나노다공성 막, 리튬이온 이차전지의 고성능 음극재, 나노클러스터 기반 표면 증강 라만 스펙트로스코피(SERS) 기반 센서 등에 이르기까지 나노스케일의 정밀 제어와 기능성 복합재료 개발을 핵심 연구 방향으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 나노다공구조, 나노복합재, 나노에너지 소재 분야에서의 응용 기술 개발에 뛰어난 기여를 하고 있습니다. 이는 의료, 에너지, 환경 분야의 혁신적 기술 개발로 이어지고 있습니다.

Nanoporous Membranes with Ultrahigh Selectivity and Flux for the Filtration of Viruses

A double-layered nanoporous membrane suitable for virus filtration has been fabricated. The top layer has cylindrical pores with diameters of 15 nm and a narrow pore size distribution (see figure). The bottom support layer is a conventional microfiltration membrane. This asymmetric membrane completely blocks human rhinovirus type 14 (colored green) from penetrating into pores, while proteins such as bovine serum albumin (colored yellow) freely pass through the pores.

Abstract Fe 3 O 4 nanocrystals confined in mesocellular carbon foam (MSU‐F‐C) are synthesized by a “ host–guest ” approach and tested as an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). Briefly, an iron oxide precursor, Fe(NO 3 ) 3 ·9H 2 O, is impregnated in MSU‐F‐C having uniform cellular pores ∼30 nm in dia­meter, followed by heat‐treatment at 400 °C for 4 h under Ar. The effect of organoclay platelets on morphologies of three blend compositions (80/20, 20/80, and 99.5/0.5 w/w) of nylon-6 (N6) and poly(ethylene- ran -propylene) rubber (EPR) has been studied by scanning and transmission electron micrographs. Abstract A structured polymer solar cell architecture featuring a large interface between donor and acceptor with connecting paths to the respective electrodes is explored.
